Summary
This project provides a 2nd thermal energy plant and 2nd parking garage for the UTSA 1604 campus. The Thermal Energy Plant is designed for future expansion to add additional capacity as the central campus is fully built out. The plant will include (1) 1250-ton chiller, (1) 1630-ton chiller, an 800-horsepower hot water boiler and a 1500-KW standby generator with allowances for (4) additional chillers and (2) additional boilers to be installed in the future as additional load growth occurs. The 4-story parking garage will accommodate approximately 481 parking spaces and will include two elevators, elevator lobby and support spaces..

Rooms for: chillers, boilers, electrical, water treatment chemical storage, fire pump, telecom, security, emergency generator, emergency electrical; (2) fire stairs; parking for 481 vehicles.
Location Center of UTSA 1604 campus, adjacent to Science Building, Biosciences Building and Parking Lot 6
