The UTSA Fleet Management monitors the use of University assigned motor vehicles to ensure efficient and safe operations. University vehicles are operated in accordance with UTSA policies and guidelines regarding state owned vehicles, HOP Section 8.9, and the Texas State Vehicle Fleet Management Plan.
Services provided by the Fleet Management Program include preventative and corrective vehicle maintenance, vehicle purchases and replacements, management of vehicle mileage and accident reports, and overseeing of the Fuel Card program. All operators of UTSA’s vehicular fleet must have driving records checked through the UTSA Police Department.
