(March 29, 2017) – – Facilities worked overtime during the Spring Break to clean up Sombrilla Plaza. Using newly acquired equipment that uses a soft wash, low-pressure system, members of the Grounds and Quality Assurance teams cleaned the entire ground surface of the plaza. The soft wash system is environmentally friendly, removes embedded growth, pollutants, algae, mold, mildew, and other biological growths. The results are impressive and can be easily seen in the photo below. Facilities will soft wash other surfaces and buildings throughout the year to improve the appearance of the campus.
