Updated Notification: Tri-Campus Natural Gas Testing Begins April 8

Update #2: The eight-hour natural gas outage to all West Campus buildings has been changed to Friday, May 1, 2020.

Natural gas to Tri-Campus buildings will be shut down in small segments for testing, as mandated by the State Fire Marshal Office (SFMO), between Wednesday, April 8, 2020 and Monday, July 6, 2020.  The shutdowns will affect comfort heating, domestic hot water, autoclaves, kitchen equipment using natural gas and emergency generators.   The exact date and time of each shut down, including an eight-hour (8) shut down of natural gas service to West Campus buildings on Saturday, May 30, 2020, will be coordinated with building occupants prior to shut downs and testing.  Only natural gas will be impacted by this testing, all other utilities including other compressed gases will remain operational and available for use.  For additional information, reference the list below or contact the Facilities Service Center at 458-4262.
