(September 15, 2017) — Construction of the Large-Scale Structural Testing Facility (LSS) began on September 11, 2017. This $9.9 million building is the largest institutional project managed solely by Facilities and is expected to be completed by March 2019. The LSS will provide researchers the ability to test real-size structural systems and components. The LSS will be located on West Campus, near the far-north portion of Barshop Blvd., adjacent to Barshop Blvd. Lot 2.
