(March 2, 2022) – Departments that desire facility maintenance projects completed before the beginning of the Fall 2022 semester are encouraged to submit a work request to the Facilities Service Center no later than June 1, 2022.
Early submission of minor facility improvement requests is key to timely project completions since projects can take a long time due to extensive coordination with outside vendors and contractors, limited availability of materials, shipping delays, and staffing constraints.
Below is a list of typical facility maintenance projects.
- Painting (single office)
- Mounting of whiteboards or televisions
- Installation of electrical outlets
- Carpet replacement (single office)
- Connecting lab equipment to utilities
- Updating department signs or nameplates
