Marketing Coordinator uses skills and passion to transform UTSA Facilities
(June 22, 2021) – In only 5 months, Janie Rea, who oversees all things marketing, social media, and communications strategy, has quickly transformed Facilities’ brand awareness.
Some of her goals include driving branding efforts, increasing social media engagement, and transforming public perception. A few of her accomplishments include the relaunch of the Employee Spotlight Series, a new marketing plan, and the rebranding of social media channels.
Janie says, “I love marketing and graphic design, to me, these are the best tools an organization can use to create a well-defined brand identity and image. With them, you can drive marketing communications both internally and externally to generate buzz and increase engagement. There is truly no limit to the power of these two great tools!”
Aside from being a passionate marketing coordinator for Facilities, Janie enjoys taking her fur babies on car rides, attending concerts, and cooking. In another life, she says she might have been a rich chef located in Italy or France, but for now she enjoys cooking for her friends and family.
In the near future, Janie would like to learn how to swim. She says every time she goes to South Padre Island she feels left out, but that this will change after she signs up for swimming lessons with UTSA Campus Recreation.
