(January 7, 2019) – The winter holiday break is a busy time for Facilities because it is the best time to work on major projects with minimal disruptions. This winter break the Facilities Construction Team (FCT) took advantage of the holiday closures to give the MH floor a much-needed makeover. The team replaced the building’s worn and damaged carpet with low cost plank carpet tiles that look great, provide long lasting wear and are easy to clean. Plank carpet tiles come in a range of colors and patterns that can influence the visual impact of the floor. The result according to Roy Garza, FCT Senior Project Manager, is “spectacular.”
