Facilities Helps UTSA’s Art Curator Place Donated Lions

(March 28, 2017) – – UTSA recently received a generous donation of two bronze lions for permanent display on campus.  Facilities collaborated with the university’s Art Specialist and Curator to place them at their new home.  The Movers unloaded the two large figures from a horse trailer and carefully transported them by forklift to the UC patio.  The lions are located in each corner of the patio near the Starbucks and Campus Technology Store.  The works of art were donated by Steven and Tami Griffin and are estimated to be over 30 years old.
